Razor Clamming in March

Posted on February 18, 2009
The March low tide was during daylight hours and it was really interesting to actually be able to see the thousands and thousands of people on the beach that day! Bart and I joined friends Trina, Brent and Billy for two really fun days clamming on the Long Beach pennisula!

We have about eight inches of snow at our house!  The whole neighborhood is blanketed in winter white.

US Open, New York

Posted on November 18, 2008
If you ever get a chance to attend the US Open Tennis Tournament in New York City, go for it! If you go the week before the finals, you are able to watch the pros up close and personal. Granted, we had nose bleed tickets in the big stadium, but after watching so many games in the practice areas the experience was still pretty awesome. Here are photos of us with my brother Donald, his wife, Risa, and our friends from Savannah, GA.

Airstream 1958 Traveler

Posted on November 18, 2008
Opal the Airstream
My husband and I own a 1958 Traveler Airstream. There were only 100 made of this model and she travels like she's brand new, not 50 years old! (She was in a barn for 25 years and we found an opal ring while cleaning her - hence her name!)  We've decorated her in 1960's Sputnik fabrics of lime green and orange. She's only 18 feet but fits perfectly into tiny campsites.
